Ayurveda broadly classified skin issues as Kustha ranging from acnes to psoriasis all mentioned under category. However, depending on its severity it again classified into Mahakustha and Kshudra Kustha. The doshas involved in skin diseases are assessed based upon the symptoms and also the signs of the condition, as per Ayurveda, skin is the site of Pitta(Fire element) so herbs are carefully to help pacify vitiated Pitta followed by treating other doshic involvement. Ayurveda explains our aahara(Diet) and Vihara(Lifestyle) being major contributors for skin issues. Your skin health reflects your internal health. Here at Sri Narayani Holistic centre each condition is carefully assessed to know the doshas involved and is followed by Shodhana and Shamana chikitsa tailored differently for each case. Hair issues commonly experienced is hairthinning, hairfall and low density/low volume of hair and alopecia. Thanks to current lifestyle and dietary habits that majorly contribute to skin and hair issues by causing vitiation of the doshas and not to forget the genetics, another major contributing factor for hairfall. The other deficiencies such as Vitamin D, B12 and Calcium deficiencies also affect our skin and hair health. Following are the therapies done for sin diseases/issues.
